If the rumours are true then he needs the armband taken off him. We're falling apart already.

There's enough comments to assume the rumours are true.

Ok so he told our own fans to fuck off!

If that's true he can fuck off

Be nice to hear from someone who was at the game. If he did do it has to lose the captaincy. Who would we give the armband to? Jennings?

Kilbane is an absolute disgrace if that's what happened.

NO PLAYER regardless can do that to the fans.

I don't want to see him play in a Coventry shirt again.

Or on flip side, at least he's passionate?

Maybe he had a good game?

Heat of the moment sort of thing?

We'll have to see if he comments on it in the next couple of days...

Were the fans swearing at him or telling him how nice he looked in those shorts?

Can't blame him really as he was probably still hungover after his binge with Thorn the night before

No excuse for his lip. Apparently he broke a rib early in the season and has been playing with it since though

I be sacked instantly if I was a pro footballer. Ugly gurning fat pissed up fans verbally abusing me? They'd be getting more than a fuck off.

But from a fans point of view, if true, the blokes a twat.

Kilbane played a pass straight into touch and when the fans moaned at him he told us to fuck off. Not content with leaving it there he then singled out one fan and the two of them were exchanging words. Not what you expect to see from a player of his experience.

Ah so the fans were booing him first. Fucking hate it when the fans boo the players, especially as they were so good on Tuesday.

I remember Dublin scoring and his celebration was to run in front of the West Terrace give them all the finger after he'd been boo'd for a goal drought.

but yes, lets all witch hunt him.

What kind of rib? A rack of ribs? Bar-b-que sauce?

He won't do that without reason and if the own fans boo the team that's not really support, don't you think? There are nine new players into the squad and it's only four games into the new season. Booing the own team only helps the opponent. It's also rubbish to cheer on the own team (or just celebrate themselves) if they are really poor (as the Irish fans did at the Euros) but during the whole 90 minutes the fans should be behind the team, cheer them on and afterwards -- when it didn't go right -- may criticize them.

So if you like the team to still play rubbish: please continue to boo them.

The fans were justifiably booing and groaning about an all round woeful performance, KK waved his hand at a section of us and said fuck off twice.

They started booing him after he hit a misplaced pass. He wasn't the worst player we had on the pitch.

Save the booing for after the match!!!

Especially when just 1-0 down.

Booing is poor but it's an easy release of frustration from a very poor performance, footballers get well payed as compensation for having to take a bit of stick now and again.

also i believe the fans helped on Tuesday by getting behind the team and still singing even when we went down after 3 mins it spurred them on, but if your going to boo him why should they try and why would they not mouth of most of the fans at Coventry swear every match at other fans at the players and stewards he's the same as us he's just a person

Calling for Kilbane to be stripped of the captaincy is ridiculous. Why do football fans expect to be able to verbally abuse people and not get anything back?

The amount of shit that the players were given is unreal where I was sat, fans arguing with eachother this is how low we are! Why couldn't he ignore it like hussey and sheffrey did?
