Another club on the brink.

It's shocking that a non-existent football club (Rushden and Diamonds) can force them out of business!

There's also a fundraiser to save them if anyone is feeling generous:

They should already be out of business. Note the sentence with the words 'financial failures'.

But there similarities to CCFC in that they do not appear to like paying rent.

It's not a lot of cash in the grand scheme of things, is it.

Used to watch the Poppies when I wasn't able to get to HR (which was quite a lot in the early - mid 80s). Great club with proper support. Plenty of mates who used to follow them all over the country (Barrow away on a rainy Nov midweek night anyone). Its a real shame - Owner of ground sells for development/ dodgy club owner winds to club down and mves it out of town/ Council don't give a toss.

The new owners have moved the club back to the Borough (ground is oppostite Weetabix factory), they still get 7-800 and even if they do go under, they will definately reform - it is a footballing town (unlike Northamtpon).

Oh I see - so they should have no trouble raising the cash at all.
