I do like Murphy as a sweeper-keeper! He is always miles out of his area when plays up the other end. I watched him doing this for Scunny at The Ricoh last year, as it looked likely we'd be signing him. He really is good with the ball at his feet (won the Scunny Soccer AM Crossbar Challenge too) and I think will actually be much more comfortable in AT's style than Westwood was. Whether he's in his class as a shot-stopper, well that's another matter.
Try not to be too despondent about the Kettering game-they are a division above Nuneaton (who I do reckon are going up this year) & Hinckley and had some good players on show yesterday. The kids have come a long way in a short time, and we can't expect too much of them-especially not when they're all on the pitch together. It's a bit of a worry that Juke hasn't hit the net yet, but he's gone close and I'm sure it'll come soon. I hope so-he doesn't want to be going into the season with a goal drought on already!
