Is it true that Keogh has been given the number 6 shirt for next season as stated on his wiki page?

If so, why would Keogh change number if we were expecting him to leave? I know this sounds stupid, and a bit conspiracy theory-ist but does anyone else think it may suggest to him possibly staying? I mean if we thought he was going why would we bother changing his number from 2 to 6?
