With keogh signing on loan to Leeds from Wolves.

That is another one of the rumoured players to be coming to Cov, joining another club.

On the way back from Birmingham on the train, I was in the same carraige as Joe Elliot.

I couldn't help but ear wig his conversation. He rated Bell's game. I thought it was a solid performance, when his friend said - we would of won 2 - 0 if we had King. He said, well lets just say it is going to be a long hard season.

No mention of anything exciting... new players coming... take over etc

2-0?

I know King's good, but I didn't think he could have got their goal chalked off!

(unless of course it was a Bluenose he was with who thought King would have scored their second)

How are we meant to afford Andy Keoghs wages?

How is he one of our targets?

Same people who blart on about 'why didn't we sign Kevin Phillips' Simple, we have no money. When will people grasp this simple concept? The only players we will sign is lower league youngsters on cheap wages or young loanees on cheap wages. People need to realise this and quick.

Hibbert, I know that all the fans know we have'nt a pot to piss in, but as you say in one sentance that we won't be signing anyone, then in the next sentance you say except lower league players it is a slight contradiction,we won't sign anyone but we might sing someone.
We know that if they don't act soon we will be cast adrift at the bottom, if we can get a goalscorer in it will not only lift the fans, but it will also lift the players as they must realise what is going on, and with a small squad we will only struggle when the winter comes and the inevitable injuries happen.
Just spending a small sum will lift everyone concerned with Cov,spend a little reap alot.

People forget far too quickly that Joe Elliott was part of the Richardson era and McGinnity era. The blokes a tool.

They would've been very bright days if BR hadn't stuck with that fucking ginger clown as manager.

I'm one of Bell's biggest fans but I must admit that wasn't his best performance.

Did you miss the bit when we got relegated, homeless, and £60m in debt? Was the 1 season of not winning an away game all season worth it in the end?
