If by some miracle CCFC were to be successful in (re)signing these two excellent centre backs how much would that achievement influence fans with respect to:

* renewing season tickets
* evidence of a major commitment by the club
* changing critical minds

If it were to happen could this be construed as the cornerstone of the club's intent to show fans once and for all that it well and truly means business.

It would be a massive boost for a play-off push, I reckon. However, the best you can hope for on here is ''theyll only be sold in January anyway'' quips.

Keeping Keogh would be massive. Captain Keogh to the rescue. Keeping Cranie would be good, but we could have a few players for the wage he would want.

If they manage to pull it off it will be quite a coup, I think this is what they are gambling on at the moment.

If they did that, filed the accounts, paid the rent, then went "bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang" in the transfer market, well THEN I might start to believe they meant it! Maybe.

Whats the point in having a brilliant defence in this league when you only have ONE senior striker at the club and no midfielders with any real creativity??

Brilliant defence ???

Its more than possible we could end up with

Clarke----Cameron--Willis---Hussey

with absoluitely no back up.

Its far from brilliant

I meant in terms of if we kept Cranie and Keogh as CB's.
