Often given a hard time (and sometimes justifiably) but thought he had a good game today.

Penalised obvious bookables with the yellow but let an awful lot ride. Did it consistently through the game and for both sides. Played his part in keeping it an open flowing match - could have been so stop start under a different ref.

He was ok today...nothing obvious in terms of poor calls...ref last week was horrible

Better today. Still some interesting decisions but nothing too extreme.

The EFL deserve a pay on back. These new rules are brilliant. No more non stop whistles for every contact

Much more like the game I fell on love with. Cracking nil nil today.

Reffed well I thought, game flowed & not too much whistle, refreshing change.

He’s been very kind to us in the past. Today he was fair and reffed it well. Hope we see more like him.

Makes a chance to have a sensible referee. Got everything right today.

I thought he let too much go and was encouraging someone to fly in with a challenge. With O'Nien on the pitch that's a dangerous thing to do.

But he was consistent in letting it go for both teams.

I've been a critic of him in the past. He had a decent performance on Saturday, but it was an easy game to ref.

He was surprisingly good Saturday, it was probably because there wasn't any difficult decisions to make so his brain wasn't scrambled..
