What a credit to himself and football...
Would love him to come back one day, best keeper I've seen in a cov shirt, he was brilliant

Considering the amount of criticism people involved with football get, there's a lot of wholesome things happening these days. Really restores your faith in humanity, regardless of wealth, social standing or celebrity status.

Fantastic from kieran, a true gentleman and for me, the best goalkeeper we've had in recent times

The one I’ll always remember is against Wolves. 1-0 up, they got a dodgy pen in the last minute and he saves it from Ebanks-Blake

That's an ace gesture, shows genuine care for the fans and teams he's played for past and present. I think the only keeper we've had who was my personal "favourite player" during the time he was with us - usually it's an outfield player for me.

Hope the lad gets the keeper kit he's looking for.

Retake penalty under the new rules - he is about 3 yards off his line when it is taken

That was it! I remember McKenzie (I think) missing a sitter to put us 2 up and then wolves equalised. Think we went straight up the other end and McKenzie scored for 2-1! Was that right?

I think so too. I always thought he was heading towards becoming a top 6 prem keeper at the time.

I forgot how decent some of the goals were that season. Seems bizarre that team couldn't do better looking back now

We did alright, we just gave up when playoffs got out of reach and went out of cup.

One of my favourite City players in years - I remember the last game of the 2010(?) Season - we got stuffed 5-0 by Watford at home.

It was an absolute dead rubber, we were both mid table, he had been hung out to dry by the defence who were already on holiday.

After the 5th he walked behind the goal and kicked the shit out of one of the advertising boards.

I remember sitting there thinking that if all our players had the passion and commitment of Westwood, we wouldn't be on the decline.

Nope, I'm talking about the squad we had that year.
