Jamie jones seemed very good to me. Why we couldn't keep him I don't know.

Was it something to do with us signing a conference 3rd choice left back over Ryan Haynes and a limit on loanees that feature in the squad?

I know I don't have the best reputation when it comes to talking about keepers, but Burgey did pretty well against Preston. Made some top saves. Yes, he has made mistakes. That incident during the Worcester game as absoloutley ridiculous, but tell me no-one has ever made a mistake. Give the kid a chance, and if he makes an error, don't get on his case, get behind him, cus a keeper is the key to a game. You have a good game and keep a clean sheet, you're guaranteed at least a draw. Burgey could be the key to our survival, so get behind him and give him the confidence he needs. After all, he's still a kid

Got to agree with Liam, Burge looked good against Preston. Nothing he could do about the goal and made a great save from Davies after the defence had lost him again. Mistakes are how you learn and hopefully it's made him more determined.

I like Burge
I agree with people that in the circumstances an experienced Keeper would be my preference.
I would love Burge to do the rest of the season in league 2 to build up confidence

A 22 year-old is not a kid.

He's still a young unexperianced keeper

Christ, what world are you living in! 22 is most definitely still a kid! If you're talking football-wise then that depends. Players progress at different ages, but considering the fact keepers have a longer career, I'd say 22 is still classed as a kid for a pro keeper.

Hmmm, he might well be doing that next season with us unfortunately.

In normal life, a 22 year-old is a young adult and I don't really see how you can argue they are still a kid. Agree with you for goalkeepers he is still inexperienced given the comparative longevity of their careers to outfield players - I just think 'kid' is the wrong term #pedantic
