Womble, love your passion. Trouble is, being brutally honest, most of our fans won't be arsed to turn up to a demo in the City centre, or at the Ricoh. We don't lack in passion for the club, but we'll only show it during a match, because we happen to be there anyway.

Only a small number will put ourselves out and go the extra mile in an independent demonstration. Sad, but true.

Best way would be to organise something for the Nuneaton game. You'll get some supporters there, because the team are playing. But for any action you'll need to shove a few banners or balloons in their hands and give them a "SISU Out" songsheet.

This should clearly be happening when we are at Nuneaton on Saturday, can gain media coverage with over 1,000 fans protesting peacefully before and after the game, and show a signal of intent, may even win a few more fans over if did this officially and shown what the trust can actually do if put minds to it.

Simply going to Northampton / Cov City Center with no football on, no one will bat a eye lid, and most other clubs would laugh and think is that all they can muster.

Keep it simple, arrange a meeting point and march to the ground together, inform media, etc etc.

If you going to protest in Northampton, then NEXT saturday is the time to do it, extra policing costs, Northampton would not think us moving was good for their budget then.

If this happens as pre planned in the City Centre or in Northampton Saturday morning, then unfortunately you will still only have your 50 hardcore supporting it - do the maths..

I think the Trust have fecked up again, ffs when will they learn ?
Going to yet another empty building .
Nuneaton would be the place for a protest this Saturday and not Northampton.
Get to grips Trust and people will take you serious .:facepalm::facepalm:

Jesus wept. I truly feel for the Cov support if this is the best your Trust can come up with. You have the option of really showing the Football League what they truly are and close down the streets around their HQ in London yet you obsess over farting around Sixfields. You know full well one or two bell ends will get themselves arrested and you'll lose all solidarity from our fans in one fell swoop. Myopic beyond words.

Agreed - anything at Sixfields is pointless unless it is properly organised with the support of Cobblers fans and with appropriate pre arranged media involvement - this is the job of the trust to organsie

Could we not just do a huge protest in the city centre?

you said that if a few people went and stood on the hill the police would move in straight away but you think there will be no issue closing down streets in London?
