While everyone is talking about Wembley...there are some L1 games tonight.

I would like to see Chesterfield and Gillingham lose tonight.

If that Gillingham side from Saturday turn up more often than not playing like they did Saturday they'll be joining us in league 2 next season!

why? We only have to finish highest out of the bottom 5, Gillingham aren't part of that though it would help if they were to get dragged in.

It really doesn't matter that much about other teams' results. We need to take care of our own results first. The teams in the relegation mix will change between now and the last game no doubt.

No real damage done. Next 2 games massive for us (as will be the ones after that!), versus Swindon and Bury - minimum 4 points, ideally 6 !!

Assuming port vale get at least one point from their two games in hand I reckon we are ten points from safety with one game in hand.
First and foremost we must win our next couple games and try and put pressure on those around us. If we can get below 5 points from safety with say 6 games to play it will become real nail biting stuff

In previous years looking at what others do was justifiable this year is different,we have to win a minimum of 8 games before we even have a chance. Bizarrely I am quite optimistic based on nothing I have seen so far just a funny feeling

I really think we are down. We aren't winning 5 more games between now and the end of the season and even that won't be enough so no we are firmly down. Quite possibly bottom of the pile.

I just think most people have written us off and in many ways rightly so but I think there will be a twist but it has to start now

With Beavon and Vernam back for Saturday I feel a little confident.

However, I wouldn't change a winning side.

No not for me. We have won one game in 4 months and played bloody awful in that time not to mention some crap and I mean crap teams. We've won 5 league games all season and we have to double that and more again by may. All the time hoping a few teams slam it into reverse. Won 1 game away from home all season. In a well known phrase.

Not a cat in hells chance.

Win the next two and it could all change, but we have to win those next two fixtures.

Winning breeds confidence, so if we can win 3 on the trot I think we will be totally buzzing.

Looks an absolutely mammoth task at the moment, but two more wins on the bounce and it could suddenly look so much healthier.

The chance to play Thomas(K) up front with Beavon with Yakoubo coming off the bench does give us more goal threat. I thought Vernam looked good in his brief spell up front at Northampton. Is that enough to allow us to double our points total? It is still hard to see it happening but not impossible. A few wins between now and April 2nd and momentum for the final would be good.

If we beat swindon and bury we'll stay up. If we don't, we'll be down

Win next 2 and we're right back in it. Win and draw we might still stand a chance. Anything less and we're down

It's when the teams we are playing have mentally written us off is when the wins start to come

Goals breeds confidence! Look at Saturday we scored first and the play in the 1st half was quite good,
