Matty, I'm pretty sure 99.9% of people agree ccfc belongs in cov and that's the message for Sunday. There is no consensus about what to do for sheff u so rather than saying we all have to do one thing, it's up to everyone to make their own decision. Some people will be on the hill. some people might do stuff inside the ground. Lots of nopm supporters refuse to go to northants under any circumstances so they can go to The Old Shepherd if they fancy it. And tbh the importance of sunday is being completely exaggerated. It is a chance to get our voice heard but this is a war of attrition with lots of battles ahead and the war won't be won/lost on sunday

It was a constructive observation at a time when things should be coming together...

The guy gives an update, which at least is some form of positive communication which surely is desgined to start to bring fans back together in some way (such as the Cov back playing in Cov message), and your response is to chuck some stones. Your posts on the subject of protestin are rarely constructive, just plain critical

How is it bringing them together by saying forget the hill that I have been emailing you about and promoting for months and then changing to promote it in a pub (which I have no issue with as its for charity) but it is the mixed message.

All of this message stuff gets confusing, standing on the same hill doing the same thing can apparently have many different messages.

I think getting everybody together is a good idea though and hope it can be done.

It's admirable that you're still keeping this up but as long as you're under the guise of NOPM, any campaign will always divide those of us who want to watch the games at sixfields. Even stating that we are all city fans and we all want Coventry back playing on coventry, which we do, the NOPM banner will always feel like you're excluding a set of fans. I'm sure you'll state otherwise, but that's just the impression I get.

I'm also sure this has been brought up already about a gazillion times though...

Michael- Is there a plan to meet the 92+1 at the Ricoh on Saturday evening at circa 7:20?

cochese, last week was a great lesson in why City fans insulting each other gets us nowhere and becomes the story the media are interested in - instead of the focus being on the mess we are in and how we get out of it. It seems to me it's important we at least make a start on trying to see what we can agree on and the kcic message seems to be one just about everyone does agree with. nopm is a tactic. As City supporters we have to recognise there are things we disagree on and the best we can probably do at the moment is agree to differ. I'm still pursuing the Independent Inquiry idea aimed at bringing to account all those responsible for the current mess. It's ridiculously slow working through options but I hope once it gets off the ground it is something everyone can get behind. And if you have any ideas do let me know at keepcovincov@gmail.com.

So why have KCiC updates on facebook, on a site entitled 'Not One Penny More: Home of the Keep Cov in Cov Campaign'?!?

That to me says NOPM is the message!

That's what it was called when Jim originally set it up. There was a discussion on the page in the summer which agreed to changing the page name to kcic but I then found it couldn't be done cos FB only allows name changes if you have less than 200 likes - hence the wording that's having to be used!

So instead of setting up a new page, you stick with one that has a name contrary to the message you want to give out?!?

Forgot to say that the web address is now keepcovincovcampaign but the page reach is extensive so I'm not sure how wise it would be to ditch it completely and start a new page when lots of people are ok with the kcic-nopm campaign/tactic - I'm a pragmatist so if it ain't broke... And as a PS, amidst the strange goings on last week someone did set up a keepcovincov facebook page which turned out to be a wind up and has been taken down
