Jesus just seen the Facebook page. I am actually left speechless.

This is my favourite:

Also Michael, you put "telephone call only", were those words actually said? 100%? Are you telling porkies?

Did you mention that ML asked to speak to you and you completely ignored him with a scripted "I'm sad that you don't want to talk to me, I am giving up?"

Got to the point now where you are as bad as they are, spinning shit up.

I have nothing but respect for your passion and drive and things like Arsenal but the way you have been with this is shocking. Just answer the phone and stop fucking about, you could make yourself a hero but instead you are just playing a panto to the crowd.

You only seem to acknowledge people who agree with you on everything and blank everyone even if it is constructive. It's slightly ignorant and a bit arrogant really.

Nick can you help me out. When did ML actually say he's been calling MO. Plenty are saying it on here but I can't find it being said anywhere else.

Where did this story come from? Was it a radio interview? Was it in a paper interview? Was it on the offal? Or was it some bloke down the pub?

That bit I knew. Sorry, I meant where did the story come from in first place when all the bitching initially began a couple of days ago?

While on the subject of your email to ML did he say why he wouldn't email MO in the first instance as MO had asked?

Yeah I asked him the other day. He said he would meet Michael but wanted a chat on the phone first. Michael refused to answer any of his calls and made statements about only communicating by email

Presumably because he wants a written record of every communication. Which isn't a problem, but you could just record every phone call.

There we go, job sorted.

Which story?

I think he wants to just get it sorted and get details in a quick call before meeting, there has been nothing to say it's a call only with no meeting.

Like people say, most phones can record calls now too!

Can KCIC and SISU not just get in a room and start a discussion. Ask the Football League to send someone as an independent observer if that helps - it's not really an offer the FL can refuse.

Entirely too much bullshit flying around all this. ML won't meet in person, MO won't talk on the phone.

Michael, if you're not willing to speak to ML on the phone, then can you hand the reins over to someone who will, please?

Similarly, if there's anyone reading this from the club, then can you make a simple, clear unambiguous statement - do you want to talk about the rent deal or not?

Both sides need to move away from the personal issues and history, and frankly paranoia. Most people here will have had to do deals, make compromises, or work with people they don't much like. You don't actually have to trust people 100% to come to an arrangement - that's why there are detailed, written contracts and expensive well-dressed lawyers.

They say they are prepared to meet but want to discuss over the phone first. Michael, I assume under advice, will not do that.

Both are ridiculous TBH. The club have met fans reps before without (I assume) insisting on phone calls. I'm sure Michael is capable of taking a phone call. Just fucking sort it out or come out and say it won't be sorted.

If someone requests a quick call before the meeting to clarify things you don't come back with another text saying no.

Hi all
I
been away for a while after the last thread i posted about ML and the subsequent taking down of the thread too. I returned to the site yesterday for a brief moment and just want an update really. I have a few questions id like someone to answer to;

1) applaud what MO has done in aid of getting us back to the ricoh but really think he needs to get off his high horse and pick up the phone. If he is unwilling is there any of his 'backers' who will?
2) are the football league aware of the offer available to SISU as i believe it would be their right to intervene on this matter
3) Why has it not been made public which businessmen are backing his offer as surely this would put more pressure on SISU
4) Why not increase the attendance rate to 10,000 rather than 5,000 as the first game back at the ricoh im sure will be packed
5) on the attendance issue does the offer state that as soon as one game's attendance is over 5000 then they will want reimbursing or are they going to take an average over the season?

I remain to be convinced there is an offer. It looks to me like a tactic to make sisu look stupid which has someone blown up in Kcic's face.

It's true though - how can a face to face meeting be any more formalised unless Kcic insist on minutes which then would have to be agreed and signed by all sides.

He should send an appointment via Outlook (with a draft agenda if he chooses). Up to Michael to accept, decline or ignore if he so wishes. Otherwise, it's more PR bullshit.

I said it more in jest. I see both sides to this story. Like I said it depends if the phone call is to discuss a meeting or not.

I suggested yesterday that Michael should set up an appointment. From what you have posted subsequently from contact with ML, then there is nothing to stop ML for instigating the meeting.

As for the PR bullshit, then both sides if no meeting takes place soon. ML/TF et al were perfectly happy to go through the personal meetings with small groups of fans, but that was merely a PR exerecise to satisfy the league I suspect. This is being viewed as having more substance, hence the possible prevarication from SISU. If the backers are serious then get something set up - otherwise its bullshit also (and I don't being Michael personally).

Might be helpful if Michael actually came on here and gave an update. Unless he's decided that the internet is no longer a suitable form of communication.

Seems like Facebook is the preferred method as nobody disagrees with him or questions him on there I guess.
