Given the success of Sunday, the kcic Sky Blue bus will again be run for transport to Jimmy's Hill (sorry Torch, but the name has caught on and even the media are using it) for the Gillingham game this coming Sunday, 15 September. coachleasing.com have very kindly said they'll do the same rate - £5 return and under 18s free. For the Colchester game, getting a decent number of people on the Hill (will you ever speak to me again, Torch?) and attracting media attention was important. For Gillingham those things don't matter so much (although would still be nice!) it's more about enjoying the atmosphere on the Hill, seeing at least some of the game and having a good afternoon out.

Glad to hear of this!

Any chance that Sky, BBC etc could be contacted to let them know we are up there.
The BBC used one of the You Tube videos last night, would be good if they could get some press up there.

I churn out the general press releases and target journos who are interested/sympathetic. Worked a treat on Sunday with Sky and then sent Ian Winter at bbc (a really nice guy) Simon's vid which he used in his report. But we have to be realistic. Sunday was an international break with no PL so media needed stories and kcic provided one for them. FL tomoz and Gillingham game will be a very different matter and I'd expect no/minimal coverage - but sheff u is then another opportunity (I get really confused with the anonymity on here so r u the guy I exchanged facebook messages with yesterday re sheff u?)

£5 return is pretty good.

Will I have time to catch it back after leaving the ground?

Well done for Sunday, thought you and those heling you did a great job on the Hill,
It was all in great humour and I felt that it was where I should be, had a good laugh.
See you next time.

Let's think a little deeper here.

Why not invite them to join us for the 'whole' game. Meet up at the bus station, travel on the coach and watch the game from the hill and then the coach journey back. Just a thought!

Good idea potentially... But whether they would during a 'Super Sunday' of premiership football I doubt they will unfortunately.
They will obviously have reporters and cameras, it's whether we can get one of them to come and join us on the hill for the second half or something.
