(to avoid any possible confusion, this was a kcic event and nothing to do with Trust)

Highlights -

Best turnout so far, esp from London-based City fans
Sky, bbc, a London paper and couple of freelancers there, plus interviews on cwr breakfast and drivetime shows.
Great atmosphere
Excellent post match drink
Agreed list of kcic events including jimmy's hill for Colchester, Gillingham etc plus next London event will be Wed 11 Sept and a couple of other ideas that need working through. For updates/details sign up to kcic mailing list at keecovincov@gmail.com

Thank you and for all those involved. I wish I could have been there or even made it for the drinks afterwards but I didn't leave the office until 10pm. Keep the pressure on the SISU scum.

No worries - we'll be there again! 11 sept is next London date. Yesterday's bbc coverage is at http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b03912wc/Midlands_Today_28_08_2013/ 7mins 30 secs in and actual footage was on later but isn't on iplayer. Anyone know if was on Sky?

found this little bit of coverage online

http://www.cityam.com/article/1377753075/football-fans-descend-mayfair-hedgie

i assume they are a London based editorial so it helps keep the message in London. i especially like the closing gambit from Michael Orton “This is like a nagging toothache for the owners – every time they think it’s gone away, we’ll come back again.”

Was going to post today to say that the picture of the protest made the City AM (though without most of the text that appears online and as that's read by a lot of the people who work in the city a very big boost to the cause - well done. Just a thought but it might be worth mentioning Avro Master Fund as well as SISU in any future publicity in publications aimed at financial people.

James, if you can suggest some wording (and preferably send to keepcovincov@gmail.com) happy to do so - possibly link to Private Eye article? Prob I have is trying to convey it all in a 10 sec soundbite or 6 word placard! Cheers, Michael

Hey well done Michael and Co.
I cant get access to beeb stuff today, but the Article that Skybluetony posted was brilliant. I loved the toothache analogy. If I can dodge work for the next one I will get down with you.

Keep up the great work fella.

Nice one, Michael. However, the fact you need to mention "avoiding confusion" shows that there is confusion!

It really was a great event and I will definitely come along again. I encourage as many people to make an effort to get themselves along to the next events. Every effort needs to be made to keep this campaign going and keep our plight in the spotlight.

Thanks for your efforts Michael and see you soon!

Fantastic & well done, keep it up

NOPM.

With any luck you will not have to give up your personal time for too much longer as we are actually in very safe hands as the current owners have £50mill+ put aside to bank roll the Club whilst the new stadium is built, players / staff are paid, transport provided to our temporary home & buy back all the best players that were sold before the £50mill+ was found at the bottom of Timmy's rainbow.
Thanks Tim & Joy. I hope you are telling the truth because I will be upset otherwise.

Glad people enjoyed it yesterday and thanks for all the positive comments - much appreciated.

On the Judean People's Front issue I will post something to clarify, but currently building a shed so may be a while...

Well done for getting the coverage

I think the confusion is the newsletters being sent to trust members.
