I don't care what Michael Orton says. An "exchange of words" between a few fans isn't going to stop me protesting at (outside) our first televised match.

Do you really think people are travelling all the way to Northampton to watch half the pitch for free?

Deluded.

I've not been inside Sixfields obviously. Been Crawley, Carlisle, Shrewsbury & Vale. & the Legends game. Have been on the hill just the once. Talked to some nice people. They are most definitely there to make a statement, despite the persistent jibes of some on here. I applaud these hill people, wish there were a lot more of them. I've spoken to Michael Orton, I think. He's very pleasant, however a bit conservative in his tactics for me. Not interested in 'pitch sit downs' anything of that nature. His approach is too polite, too safe.
For me, it has to be peaceful disruption of the games or nothing. But it doesn't look like City fans are up for it. Which is a great shame.
I'll probably go on the hill on Sunday in the absence of anything else.
Sky TV will hit the 'gate' big time. It could be another new historically low gate. I hope so. It is all Sisu deserve for what they've done to us fans. Empathy - yeah, right.
This season being a CCFC fan is so weird.
Where's the new stadium then Tim?

There are some on here who genuinely believe that though. Hard to believe I know.

If you can't form some sort of protest for our first televised match then we are pathetic.

I respect the Jimmy HILLers.
They endure all the carping criticism for a principle they are prepared to......well......stand on a hill for.
We can always do nothing or go to matches in the idle hope that it'll sort itself out one day.

Looking at the numbers it is clear that the HILL fraternity represent the clear majority of disaffected Coventrians. Maybe the Sheff Utd match offers an opportunity for the minority to momentarily get behind a united protest?

Wrong. The clear majority of disaffected fans are staying at home.

And they want what we all want - Cov in Cov. Even those that attend matches want that. That is, as I said the "majority" view.
Time for us all to get together under the one banner.

Apologies if this has already been suggested (cba to read through 26 pages of comments), but what about hoofing a load of footballs on the pitch with "SISU OUT" emblazoned across each ball? Should be easy to do from the top of the hill! 87 balls in the 87th minute, something like that. Every can aim for Marlon King! Just a suggestion, but it'd look pretty funny watching on Sky and if there was a close up of one of the balls it'd make a point (even if SISU OUT was scrawled in black marker pen!)

The "SISU OUT" message has to be dropped as it isn't working and is one sided. The message has to be at all parties involved. And when it is, you'll get every Cov fan involved - just like the march did.

'SISUOUT' isn't the main message currently.

Also, being disruptive in a manner like that would probably lead to trouble with police sadly.

Cov in Cov is the message:
Sadly the "keep" was not heeded, .
Apart from that I quite like the 'balls on the pitch' idea.
It's not dangerous and would bring a momentary but unavoidable break to proceedings.
A good photo opportunity too!

The hill is close but not near enough to get a ball onto the pitch, you would have to go inside to do this or down by the ground. They will have heavy security all over the place to stop anyone going down to the stadium.
Even though they loose a couple of balls to us every game they would need a lot to be punted over the wall to effect the game.
Been told there is to be a lot of media coverage on Sunday so everything we do will be watched and filmed.

Nothing quite like standing outside the ricoh where the match should have been played and protesting there, where thousands could so easily attend?

Just stand on the hill and enjoy the company of fellow fans.
Bonus if we get seen on TV but who cares?
If the ground has less than those on hill then double bonus if reported.
Who knows where this could go !!!!!

Dare say the Ricoh have paid to have the business package, so they can show sky in the corporates, casino etc. But charging admission specifically to watch sky would probably breach their license.

Agreed, one thing I've enjoyed about being on the hill is how well everyone gets on.

And a KFC, Frankie and Bennys, TGI Fridays, pizza hut, a decent pub, Bella Italia too

Food outlets outnumber home fans

Trust should get behind it as a KCIC campaign game.

This is the only way. Absolutely no home support whatsoever would send the best message. Can't see why this can't be achieved. Everyone can all watch the game anyway Live and have no travel costs. Save your money use it for an away fixture.
