Ideally we want as many top players as possible.
However these two players are part of the squad that has served us so well and part of the fabric of team. Both valuable in their own way even on their off days.
I'd rather they stay around .

Do we need both of them and Sheaf Grimes Torp and Rudoni? I’m not convinced. I’d rather we had a different option in there. I’m not bringing on Allen or Eccles to change a game.

Hope our sell on fee isn’t as much as Hulls. Maybe that’s why the price differs over night? Maybe we’ve offered more to reduce the sell on?

50% sell on fee is nuts and a big risk for someone who isn’t even proven at this level

Keeper, RB, CM then if Wright goes a LW.

GK/Dovin/Wilson
KKH/RB
Toffolo/Angel Brau
Thomas/Lats
Doyle/Kitching
Grimes/Sheaf
CM/Eccles
Rudoni/Torp
Dolan/Saka
Bertaccini/Simms
EMC/Wright

Maybe upgrade Eccles too if the right players comes along? Or have Torp as an 8 and get a successor for Rudi in early.

To be fair, think Grimes, Sheaf, Eccles, Allen is plenty for the CM role with Andrews and Moore on the outside as well.

Can’t see us signing a CM unless one goes

Allen and Eccles are very good squad players. They train hard and are ready whenever called upon. They can hold their own and don't sulk if they don't get a game for weeks or even months. If we're not replacing them with players that are walking into the front team we should save our effort and money to bring in cover where it is needed.

It’s more I don’t think we have the best tools available in midfield for different game scenarios than I want someone to “walk into the first team”, it could be a younger player who isn’t quite there yet but offers something different. Once Rudi is out of there you’ve got no one who is comfortable driving with the ball really. Torp is the closest and sometimes you’ll want two of them on the pitch. We really missed someone in the middle who will commit players and move us up the pitch instead of playing the safe pass, especially as Rudi is often up as a SS or out wide. In a game where we’re dominating the ball we don’t need Grimes and Sheaf on the pitch. And just having Torp considering his injury record so far (not to mention Sheaf’s) seems risky.

Take away our link between defence and midfield when we're dominating? If anything we need them on the pitch for when our defenders go up on attack. We need them for the counter attack against us.

I think the "Driving us forward" element is going to come from the wings now. Saka is very adept at it and EMC when hes on it too. I agree that a box to box CM is always nice, but I'm happy with Grimes and Sheaf sitting as they have the vision to drive us forward

No, Grenners we have been through this before.

I have already told you I am just actually ignoring you. I haven't got you blocked as I would miss the chance to see you make a fool of yourself.

So you understand now? We went through this before, but alas you must of been drunk

Loads on here thought we were cooked when certain other clubs showed an interest in KKH... well looks like we've got our man now. Wait and see what happens, think we've got an exciting summer to look forward to.

Yes it is madness to think we will be signing Callum Doyle, Dolan and Bertaccini. Total and complete fantasy.

And to top it off you have listed Ben Sheaf, one of and if not the best midfielder in the league, as our back up. Classic delusion

If every club signed every player tenuously linked by fans Everyone would need 50 man squads.

its close season fun. And pretty much happens to every club every season

Probably the best/most like-for-like replacement we could get for MVE. The question now is how we use the funds from selling Milan.

I am fully aware, I don’t mind the speculation, however, the players listed are ridiculously out of reach. It’s not speculation to suggest we are signing Callum Doyle, it’s pure fantasy. Might as well list Vitinha in there as well
