We’ll definitely sign a winger in Jan, by all accounts we tried to close a deal before the end of the window.

KKH and Brau as back up wingers is not sustainable for the whole season. The subs we’ve made in recent games were appropriate when leading/drawing games. When we need to chase a goal, our subs aren’t what’s needed imo.

Don't agree about KKH, I think he could do a job on the wing. No defender wants to be confronted with that sort of pace.
Agree about Brau from what I've seen of him.

I think it’s less pressing with KKH than Brau and both are less pressing than our lack of reserve 10s and 8s. Sort of position we might find a loan in, I’d be very happy with a wide forward who can play either side an an 8/10 coming in.

To be honest, I don't think we have seen anywhere near enough of Brau to make any kind of judgement at this point.

So glad the club didn't agree with the fans who said we could only have one or the other when it came to KKH and mve

Suspect the club was happy to sell MVE just couldn't get the right price

Still think KHH in front of MVE for certain games will cause massive problems for other teams!

I’d probably go the other way round. MVE in front of KKH

BTA will cover Sakamoto (and any other fucker for that matter) the guys on fire right now.
In fact he could probably cover MvE and still get on the score sheet

Not literally on fire you understand!

That would be my preference as well, although I think it would work either way round.

He's played in several positions already so far. He's been on the left, right and even down the middle. As we have seen he has pace to burn and even an eye for a goal. The perfect all rounder.

Lampard has a real prospect on his hands here. No position other than GK would surprise me.

Think you could go either way tbh. I actually think having them both could be a key factor in maintaining an auto push.

And yet he's still not been at LB

If we go up we won't touch the RB position imo. We'll be more than happy to go into the Prem with MvE and KKH.

I think that in itself suggests Lampard doesn’t quite trust him yet, ample opportunity to give him minutes at LB and LW but it hasn’t happened.

Woolfenden and KKH have only just started to get game time. They would go straight into most Championship sides. JDS has deservedly kept his place.

But yes maybe Lampard doesn't think he is ready to be thrown into the 1st team yet. Just keep giving him time to get used to the speed of the Championship.

Like with a lot of foreign players there probably needs to be a settling in period for Brau.

Rather than throw him into the deep end just yet I think Lampard is probably biding his time with him and allowing him to adapt to English football at his own pace.

The way he cuts in on from the right and hits it with his left...is something Milan doesn't have really...He's got 2 decent feet.

He's not needed to, to be fair. JDS has been great this season and Bidwell has been fine to come on for the odd cameo.

I think with Brau, the club may feel Dasilva and Bidwell can cover the LB position at last for this season. It may be they feel Brau is a bit of a long term project and worth the fairly low investment. He looks to have some good attributes and has natural attacking instincts. Physically more man than boy. He seems to have a good attitude.

Fans often assume when a player signs he is expected to go straight into the first team. At successful teams this often isn't the case. The way we are playing we can afford to let him settle and adapt. He is already on the fringes but there is no need to rush any expectations.
