He moved to Cardiff when very, very young and then grew up there until he moved to Man city at 16 so why shouldn't he feel Welsh and be able to play for them?Matondo, born in Liverpool, no Welsh parents but lived in Wales for a bit...... love International selection criteria..... although sure England have exploited it the years.
Everyone on here said he’s not good enoughBassette with 2for U21 Belgium, not bad.

It was against Andorra U21, not the hardest test.Bassette with 2for U21 Belgium, not bad.
Not one person has said he isn’t good enough to play against Andorra u23’s.
If Lampard thinks he’ll get minutes off the bench then surewatching the bristol rovers highlights, kai looks a real talent, anyone else think he might stay on this year rather than go on loan? hes only 18 too.

surely being at home, with your team, with lamps, surely builds and build confidence, rather than sending him to scotland agan?Yeah, I’m all for loans if players aren’t in the mix at all but if he’s getting even a few mins here and there and training under one of the best midfielders of his generation, I’d be tempted to keep him around

He has the physicality to cope in our league.
Allen is not good enough anymore unfortunately.I'd rather he got a full season playing 40+ games at a decent level, high end league 1 would be fair, we use Allen while he's still good enough for a year and then we bring Andrews in to Allen's minutes next year.

whatIt's a no brainer for me. He was man of the tournament. Corinthians are a good side and they couldn't cope with him. It was their mens side as well. That strike from 30 yards plus shows what he is capable of. The keeper got nowhere near it. Showed he is very alert when he blocked the only shot that went past our keeper.
Keep him in the squad. He doesn't take up one of the 24 places. It would be a great experience for him. Let him train with Lampard and the 1st team. Maybe give him time in the cup games.
He did brilliantly to be both in Singapore and Sussex in the same weekend! It is Kai Yearn who scored the goal in Singapore. It's a no brainer for me. He was man of the tournament. Absolutely.Just starting the last year of his contract (unless we have an option of a further year). With his current ability, potential and age allowing him to register as an under 21, he's got to be worth a new contract now?
Easy done. I just confused him with the Andrews Sisters.Sorry got mixed up was getting a nagging off my wife at the same time
I was surprised I thought he was dead then realised it wasn't EamonEasy done. I just confused him with the Andrews Sisters.
One for the teenagersEasy done. I just confused him with the Andrews Sisters.
In his interview in the Telegraph, talking about his time at Motherwell, he said something along the lines of 'I was really pleased with how it went for a first loan'
WhichI took to mean he'd be out on one again this season.
But I've a feeling maybe Lampard might keep him around
Surely Kai Andrews would learn more from Frank Lampard coaching then some lower League team. Just look how Jack Rudoni as improved under Lampard.
