I was impressed at FGR. He’s a big lad. Seemed to be quick and decent on the ball…a good finish albeit one he should’ve scored.
And it was only a friendly against FGR.
Different type of strikers. Obikwu looks more like the big powerful centre forward,
I think he'll get a place on the bench unless we do some serious business pretty quickly.
Although the squad is threadbare, we look like we have some decent kids that may not be too far away.
Big awkward and has pace in the couple of halves I've now seen him in. Tbf the standard of opposition he's been up against and beaten teams it's difficult to assess, but certainly offers an alternative option.
I think it'd be interesting to see this lad and Tavares together for U21 as a big man-little man combo. Both have a fair way to go to be challenging for first team.
Depends who else we sign as i think of we bring another 1 or 2 experienced strikers in he is highly unlikely to get any game time. He certainly looked decent at times tonight, terrible opposition but he was getting into good positions and very nearly had two goals
Defo something there. Seems to have decent feet and good attributes physically. Hope we can get a couple strikers in so him and Tavares can go out on loan
Lots to like about this lad, you can see he has raw talent and natural attributes to do well. Looks a bit of a.find for me and although early days id keep him close and put him with the 1st team everyday possible build him up and get him a loan out in Jan.

I see what you mean but mk dons and forest green will both be hoping for a positive league 2 season after relegation.
This lad was on loan at North Leigh last season, I don't even know what division that is but if he's standing out against teams who last season were in league 1, he's developing very well indeed

I agree he's developing well i am just not sure he will get much time on the pitch here if we sign another couple of forwards. If we do then maybe he will get loaned out and that will hopefully help him push on a bit more. I think there's definitely potential in him, hopefully we get to see it.
Well in fairness Taveres has a long term injury, he can and does score goals but football is cruel, the cruelest of sports and injuries can happen anytime and spike your chances I hope this doesn’t happen with him, but time doesn’t stop in football.
