This is a petition for the case of the Birmingham Pub Bombings to be reopened.

David Cameron has ruled out a new investigation recently, if they get over 100k signatures then Parliament will debate it. After the Birmingham 6 were cleared no one has ever been charged with one of the worst atrocities carried out in Britain prior to 7/7.

21 people died, hundreds were wounded and maimed, their families deserve justice the same as anyone else.

Are we allowed to think that just because the six were cleared that they were not responsible? I guess this is why they have not convicted anyone else because the guilty six were released and rewarded.

There is a perception that if someone has been found innocent they are innocent.

That worked fine for OJ Simpson didn't it.

Agreed.

However, the fact is 21 people were murdered and the Crown Prosecution refuses to renew their interest in the case.

I am always suspicious at how much credibility these e-petitions are given but it only takes a couple of minutes to register your vote and if it goes one small jot towards the families of the murdered getting more exposure about the case then I think it's worth it.
