Yeah I would argue that’s different. Teams are not in the same country and you were influenced as a child rather than now

Plus the nearest team to me is based in Coventry's twin town, and is also CCFC.

Took me 10 years to realise that, but I do watch out for them & have been to a few games, but its not & could never be the same.

I’d watch my son play and that’d be it. Maybe the odd England game. It would never feel the same supporting another club.

I’d finish off the 92, it’d always be subject to change as well with teams coming in/out of the football league. After that I’d just put all effort into getting Coventry United wound up.

Nobody for me.
Like bornslippyskyblue I would watch my son play...
Might go and watch some local games - Yeovil, Exeter and Taunton, but could never be a 'supporter' of another club.

Could never support anyone but the Sky Blues. I have a soft spot for Man City which stems from the fact of Man Utd this and Man Utd that for so many years. It's nothing like support but I do hope they win and Utd lose every week.

Football would be dead if CCFC didnt exist (in my head anyway).

The Premier League is shit. No interest in foreign football, and if we're not competing in the EFL there would be little interest there as well.

I would probably still watch England although they bore the hell out of me!

I'd be tempted to get a Cov Rugby season ticket to make me stick with it and hope by the end of the season rugby didnt bore the hell out of me either!

Probably get a Leicester season ticket and enjoy the upgrade without the emotional investment. It's the hope(thanks Nick) that kills you.

I would look for the club most likely to take on the mantle from us ‘and then support them.
Ideally they would play away every week, and spend lots of time and money in court.
They would have Owners and a local Council ‘not to mention a fare proportion of the local
population that hate them, they would always work towards a goal of “one step forward” and
“at least two steps back”
:emoji_thinking: I Just think I’d miss all this shit :emoji_smirk:
