He's always been pretty genuine and I've known him years. He said they have sold 1500 tickets. He said it might be the last game he sees, as there is a winding up meeting next Tuesday! He said we could lose and still be in the cup if they get wound up.

just repeating his comments, not my thoughts.

I thought the feedback from a cobblers fan who occasionally contributes on here, was that a council bail out plan last week was favourable to them?

I think the bigger problem is HMRC.

unless your starbucks, facebook or amazon. to be honest if sisu had anything about them as a thank you for what northampton did for them they would give them the 100% not 45% of sales for saturday (before someone shits down my throat for that, i only mean from sisu's point of view not from the fans)

Surely if we lose, we are out and the team that would have faced them in the next round gets a bye.

Why I wouldn't expect another club to do the same and if Saturday's revenue goes towards a small part of paying for a CCFC loan player I would rather that.

Not many gave a toss about us when we've been in big trouble.

A lot of supporters did. But not as much as paying SISU's debts.

All clubs are just one bad owner/chairman away from disaster. We have had more than one. That is why we are where we are now. Blackpool and Pompey are two of the latest sides to have suffered. It hasn't been much fun at Rangers. Whilst I have sympathy for the supporters they need to level off and see what happens. It might mean that they drop down to non league. But it is time that clubs became self sufficient. We now are. And with the right manager you can still do well.
