I had one of my first season tickets at that time … I stood under the scoreboard. We were the scoreboard soldier. Gibbo hat trick v Liverpool watched from there… happy days

Don't remember all those earth banks. Think it was terraced when I was on there.

It was concrete! Used to stand at the front of the top part before migrating to the bottom behind the goal when I was bigger

One of several mess's we managed over the years with the kop.
Obviously the lack of space on Swan Lane caused the unusual shape, but lt always looked unfinished. It would have been a great stand with a roof and the same height and depth all the way along.

I've been led to believe that everyone on the Facebook group is a moron. What are they doing posting great photos like that?

Eventually it became a stand, but I was referring to the terrace.

Someone may correct me as its slightly before my time, but this is after the Kop was converted to seating and then changed back to standing?

The process of which caused this weird non terraced bit between the two levels? As in all the pre seating pictures I've seen it was just one large terrace

Only up to a point. Remember how thin it got towards the Main Stand corner?
