Disagree... Hackney is no better than Rudoni. If anything, fully fit and in full form, id much rather have Rudoni than Hackney. Rudoni has been injured for large parts of this season, played much less minutes than Hackney, been hugely out of form and playing with a dislocated shoulder problem, yet is equal on goals and only has 1 less assist. They have the best midfieldER I would say though.
Their midfield isn't better than one containing Grimes, Onyeka and Rudoni.Which is obviously bollocks, because they lack a proper striker.
You can't have the best squad without that.
They've arguably got the best midfield, but they've not got the most balanced squad.
Best squad! No chance they probably have the best midfield about it though! This thread is probably in reference to it but when Boro scored the other day even the commentator said “they have the best squad in the league and they are playing like it”. I had to go and check the league table again.
This aged well, didn’t it? Deluded Smoggies and their ‘best team in the League’ bs Nothing more than tippy tippy possession footy, lots of games over 70%, but crucially can’t score goals from it!
Let's not forget their fans chanting "we are Premier League" at Sheff Utd.
hes got the same returm as rudoni though and jacks been out for about 10 matches
You are correct probably not the best comparison .. but even torp has a better returnPlays deeper than Rudoni who is basically a forward tho.

He's obviously a good player and i've always said football is way more than charts and graphs, more so than any other sport, although they give a good gauge of course. He is wanked over so much that it's slightly annoying though, bored of hearing about him. You'd think the team creaming the league didn't have any good players the way some go on. Fact is, we have a lot of them. You are correct probably not the best comparison .. but even torp has a better return
Hes a very good footballer dont get me wrongA bit like my Wright vs Gyokeres comparisons I think any player would score more in our team than any other in this league. TBH when I’ve seen Hackney I’ve not been blown away but I’ve not watched him a lot and he’s generally seen as the best in the division. I’d like to see us go for someone with a bit more physicality if we go up tho.
Just not when he plays against usHes a very good footballer dont get me wrong
I mean they haven't anyway, they haven't got a striker better than even our second choice. This thread is probably in reference to it but when Boro scored the other day even the commentator said “they have the best squad in the league and they are playing like it”. I had to go and check the league table again.
They are fart and no shit. Lots of tipy tappy pretty football but no end product and how many seasons now are they the nearly team bottling the last games of the seasonDon't care what anyone says, Boro are a good watch, doesn't mean they're the best team, they're clearly not, but they play nice stuff.
Watching Ipswich makes my eyes bleed.
He actually was right to be fair.
Its like sheaf right , always rated highly because he does the percentages well .. but its simply not the full storyJust not when he plays against us
The ‘top’ teams?..when I look at the League table, only 1 team has been at the top since September apart from 6 days………….Have we played anyone decent yet? Rival fans were telling us this when we were top in November
Simply comparing goals and assists is not a way to judge a player, there's for more to it than that. I find it infuriating, especially when players play in different positions and have different responsibilities on the pitch. Comparing Rudi and O'Hare's output for instance would make more sense as both play behind the striker, but even then it still depends to some extent on the wider team.Disagree... Boro and Millwall for me. Best chance of 12 points next season.Letting Boro catch up for one game just to beat them then leave them flailing in the mud again was elite level trolling.
Proper 3 horse race for second, that'll be a fun watch for the neutral. Hope its Millwall, really hope its not Ipswich.
