Looks the business doesn't he? His range of passing is superb.

We need to build around him next season.

Handled well he should turn out OK.

Can't say I'm going to join the list of people bugging for him up, he's not done anything that tells me he's going to move onto bigger and better things, but that's not me not rating him either. Just needs to do a lot more before I would put him under the same bracket as Wilson, who also took his time to make a name for himself

where would you place him?

Attacker or midfielder?

I think time will tell, he is a little bit light weight and will work as an impact player off the bench. When he has started that I have seen he hasn't had as much involvement.

He could be very good behind the front 2 in a free role.

Yes. And he will be sold again to Spurs. Sisu are clever at making a double profit.

Sly bastards.

You will be saying they can get people to pay money for Jordan Clarke next.

I said pre season he was a bit small for the division we are in. But he does have the skill. Hopefully he will be like Wilson and bulk up a little during closed season. I can see him doing well. And he is my little boys favorite player.

I think the best thing we can do is massively hype him up and put all our hopes on him. There is absolutely no way that he will leave the moment he gets noticed

I like him, my kids love him and with some more hard work, I think he could make a living in the Premier League in a season or two, hopefully we can get promoted and he would want to stay and try and do it with us.

He has potential and at the moment thats all. Only 17 I believe, he needs atleast a full season under his belt and if it is with TM he could go onto a decent level and worth a lot of money to us, but a long way to go yet.

Scouts from PL teams are watching him every week. He'll be hard to keep hold of. Wouldn't be a bad for him if he goes. Has to go to the right club though.

He's only 18 and needs to talk to Callum and Bigi about the right time to move. I personally think given his small stature he should wait until he has played at least two seasons of regular first team football. There again I biased and want him to stay and help get us at least one promotion.

Reminds me of Wilshire too. Potentially as good a young player as the club has ever produced, just needs to make sure that his confidence doesn't turn into over-confidence. I hope he takes your advice about sticking around, because Mogga would be a very good mentor for him. And I'd love to see him play for us at a higher level.

Haha - although i think Mogga can't stop dropping the odd bit into his interviews "he stands out like a beacon". "soon he'll be the best player on the pitch every week", so we can't 'hide' him `from others. If SISU act like ars*s this Summer, it will probably take the offer of a few hundred grand and some footballs for the training ground to persuade them to sell. Great if we can build around him, because he has the potential to be a Premier league player within 3 seasons.

Talking about building a team round an 18 year old is ludicros......however I do think he should and could make more of an impact next season.
TM has been using him as impact sub and still think that is best way for him ideally do not want him burned our and over hyped like Haynes.

I like him a lot think he will stay and if used correctly will have an impact. I'm looking for him to stay injury free and be involved in most games
next season though not necssarily starting a shedload.

Maddison reminds me a lot of Grealish at Villa - he's a bit less advanced than Grealish but think has that potential.

MK Dons built their team around an 18 year old this season.

He has however.... the ability to beat a player, pass to his own team mate, has a great first touch, and can score goals..... versus Thomas, Barton, Fleck .....who would you build your team around, out of that group?

(I've left JOB out of the equation, as he has scored a reasonable total from the middle of the park and does put in the effort).

To be fair, he doesn't play the same position as Thomas, Barton or Fleck.

Compare him to JOB who sometimes plays behind the front 2 or Odelusi or Nouble when he plays attacking midfield.

OK - he's got a better touch/more ability than any of those mentioned and given a whole season would score as many as any of them - with a few penalties won on the way (all of which we would then miss )

I don't doubt he is going to be a decent player, but lets not over hype him and pile too much pressure on.

It is very much a guessing game, the city are producing a lot of decent players some will make it to the highest level and others will make a decent career in the game at lower levels.. Local born players like Maddison, Crowley and Wilson have the best chance of playing and having good career's in the premiership in my opinion. All 3 have very good attributes to go higher and although Wilson is different than the other two, all very good prospects.

Agreed
Just a tad smaller
If Grealish stays on his current path he's England bound
Maddison has a choice, there was a big club In for him in Jan
So how much do SISU need to fund a season or two and how much does Maddison want to be a third tier player?

If he's got any sense, he'll pick up the phone to Wilson if he wants tips on how to progress his career.

Maddison is technically better and cleverer than most of the squad, he will also chip in with scoring penalties and free kicks. He is young and a little light weight but he can only improve and get stronger. There is a good group of 1st year pros for next season. Search George Thomas, Dion Kelly Evans, Devon Kelly Evans, Cian Harries, Ben Stevenson on YouTube and you will see their season highlights from this year. Mix them in to the 1st team gradually along with a few experienced heads (hopefully TM will stay and bring a few in) and I think it could be a good recipe. 2nd year pros like Haynes should also be really pushing on next season

Yep, personally I think he's be better waiting until he's had an outstanding season under his belt like Wilson, then chose his next club wisely. Dele Alli isn't going to get anywhere near the Tottenham side.

I would not build a team around any of the above including job
