............. does anyone know what the future held for our FA Cup Youth team of 1987? They brought that bit of silverware back to Highfield Rd, but due to the senior team's win at Wembley, the youngsters win seems to have been forgotten. It would be nice to know that they may have gone on to enjoy their careers.

Tony dobson made it.he is a mate of mine as we both went to Ernesford Grange school. Steve livingstone also did okay.

Seem to remember Tony Dobson made his debut at Villa for Greg Downs (who was on a yellow and didn't want to pick up a booking for the cup final)?

And Dean Kiely. Used to watch the reserves around then and remember him coming through. David Smith? Martyn Booty?

And wasn't there a striker that used to bang in 25 goals a season in the reserves, made the bench aged about 17 for the first team but never made it into the big time. Matt Jenkins???

God I'm getting old.

Tony Dobson had a spell as manager at Rugby Town as well. 3 or 4 seasons IIRC.
