Totally agree.
And football is an emotional game, it's why when we're 2 0 up with 5 minutes to go we're all biting our nails and saying we need a 3rd even though somewhere in our rational minds we know there's very little chance we'll blow it, but that also makes it sweeter when the final whistle goes.

The strangest thing has been that since the day of the Swansea game when the earlier matches had gone our way that I’ve felt completely relaxed for about the first time in my life following CCFC. Even if we’d lost at Swansea or lost last night it wouldn’t have changed my mind that we were going to make it.
But the issue was that our away form fell off a cliff for two months
As mentioned, we've dropped 12 points at home, if we'd done that by losing 4 on the trot at home there would have been a similar reaction, but as weve lost points sporadically it wasnt an issue for most, (there were a few overeacting, in my opinion, to the Oxford draw).
And as stated throughout this thread, its clear Lampard was seeing what some of us were seeing which is why we signed Onyeka. I think I may be right in saying we haven't dropped points away since he signed

Im the same. I've been expecting us to drop more points than we have so the longer are good run goes on the less consequential a loss or a draw will be.
