River Walk, then the "special" school's pitch on Deedmore Road (It had a fence, hence a "net"), and Cally Park after school.

Wroxall drive, mid to late 1970's. There was a strip of grass which was easily accommodating for as many as 8 a side. Given the choice I would invariably be Tommy Hutch. Sometimes faithfully sticking to the role would lead me to stumble off the pitch down into the 'canyon'.

morris park - those were the days when there were several games going on at once - and always another team to challenge or join in
