http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/co...feel-so-bad-for-coventry-city-92746-30138896/

Speaks quite well and sums up the mood in the camp nicely-come to your own conclusions, but refreshing to hear comments like this when the CET and C&W aren't really stepping up to it.

“I don’t think the manager has been provided with much support and he’s done well to hold his tongue and keep his dignity because it has been difficult for everyone."

That tells me that the squad are still with him & pissed with the owners.

Always had time for the fella. Great guy. Refreshing to see a footballer in a Ramones T-shirt and know he had an idea of who they were.

Always had time for him. Great forward, great guy, great fairwell piece.

Sorry to see him go.

You can't blame him for going. If SISU sold him he has no choice. Even if he did have a choice who could blame him. He has to consider his career and I dare say he has a mortgage like everyone else. All we can ever ask of any player is that they don't screw the club and fans over and don't bad mouth us when they go. Players like Juke and Ben Turner keep respect by the manner of their going. In a way I wish he was playing on Saturday so that we could show him that we don't resent him. He'd score though, that's the law.

Model professional, old style English centre forward, decent man; hope he has a bright career ahead of him-with that attitude, he won't go far wrong. Just a shame we couldn't have held onto him a wee bit longer!

Excellent pro. Been rating this guy since his debut for us. Excelllent work ethic (dont forget he continued training throughout the summer to keep himself in shape, when he could have been off holidaying like most of his team mates were).

Good luck to the lad.

Good lad - given our situation moving on was the only real option for him and the club, will get a good reception when he returns

Respect him for speaking out and I wish him all the best as he always gave everything for the cause. He's got a very good career in front of him I reckon. His comments also demonstrate to me that the players fully understand why the fans aren't happy with SISU and would almost certainly have understood fans boycotting the Soton game despite what people said at the time

Oh well there's goes my forecast of 15 goals scored by Jukebox out of the window.

Mind you I'm surprised that West Ham didn't come in for him. I mean they'll probably return back to the premiership and not have this gentlemens' agreement concerning him playing against us. Also at least he doesn't need to do all the work as he has better players around him.

Anyway all the best and thanks for everything Lukas.:claping hands:

BTW does anyone if there's a percentage sell-on clause there?:thinking about:

Do you think the board give a shit how much cash we get in a couple of seasons? They'll be long gone.

Yeah, all the best to him. Thanks for the goals and that. He was never going to be a 20 goal a season man with us though, too inconsistent. I'll just wait patiently for our next hero to arrive.

Torchy, the guy had 9 in the league after half a season, how can you seriously say he'd never score 20 in a season?

How many 20 a season strikers do most relegated clubs have?

Sorry, but to persist with the idea that Jule doesn't score when he's on for 20 a season in the lowest scoring team in the football league is ridiculous.

I'm saying that because with the chances he's had he should be on 20 now! Just because he's nearly half-way there doesn't mean he would keep it up. He didn't last season. Maybe he will at Middlesborough.

We're not a relegated club.

the mis-directed anger is really aimed at - ? SISU
never known such a bunch of devious, self-centered, myopic fools,
sisu,
you well & truly missed the trick,
even in harsh financial times, to adequately speculate, would be to accumulate,
too late,
zero credibility = LOSERS,

Brighton, with respect,Telegraph ARE reporting on the state of the club under SISU. You just read it - they reported Juke's comments.

Fair Paly to Juke he could of walked away without a thought or a care about the club, but to his credit kept his head down worked hard for the team and has been honest about his transfer.

I have alot of respect for him and Wish him luck at a club that deserves his work ethic....

By 'not saying much', I meant they weren't doing much pressing/investigative journalism that say, the folk from Late Kick Off did in trying to dig behind SISU. I'm not saying they don't report on the state of affairs, of course they do-but they seem content to be sat typing up match reports and player quotes rather than getting out there and getting real news of their own.

Sheffers I think! Seems so long ago! Last person to come close was Mifsud with 17, which also feels an age ago. If he'd have kept up his form and not got distracted by all this Mosquito rubbish he would have smashed the 20 goal barrier. I think he went on a 10 game dry spell which was horrific at the time!

I seem to remember his goal drought coinciding with him being shunted out to playing right wing for the rest of the season-doesn't usually help!

Sheffers has never scored 20 in a season. No one has since we came down. Dion in 97 got 23 I think, before that it was Wallace in the 70s.

I thought he did the season prior to leaving? In all comps? Could be wrong!

Oh, and I wasn't trying to be derogatory towards Mifsud, I meant, at the time, it seemed horrific but since then, our strikers have barely broken into double figures!
