They left a permanent signing too late for him to play today, whereas an emergency loan lets him play before they buy him in the week.

To those slagging the club off for letting him go on loan, how about you actually read the article. In fact its in the first line.

The point is.... we don't have Nimely for today yet Juke is obviously fit and they want him to play before a perm move next week.

Another fecking cock up by SISU and Thorn...

We should have played Juke today then let him move.

So the whole situation is to our disadvantage

Why do people pretend that Thorn has any control over the situation?

Pva,why do you think people are slagging the club off? Is it cos the club is a joke perhaps? Why not play him today then let him go? How about sisu actually help us for once? Piss off sisu.

This must be a joke!! SISU aren't really that foolish to make such a decision they know is certain to Pisa off fans?? Oh no, this is what they've come to be good at doing. Another decision that will make us a laughing stock! Thought the only reason we were gettin the man city lad was so he can play in Jukes place, yet today we won't be playing either. They really are screwing us over good and proper!!

Interesting that on the Cov website it says "we will continue to work with Andy to strengthen to squad....Alex was top of Andys list of targets"

How can they say that when they've blatantly weakened us for today by doing this?

And if he was top of his list then he will be playing about two games

I guess maybe Borough threatened to pull out of the deal if we didn't allow him to go on loan to play today?
That is the only logical reason I see as to why we would let him go on loan to play today.

Yes but do you not get that boro have all the bargaining power here, they have money, we don't. So they can quite easily bend us over a barrel to get what they want and there's nothing we can do.

Why are people going mad? We have known for the last few days he is going and we would not have the young lad in!

It is only a loan so he can play today, I guess as part of the deal!

If he scores a couple we should put the price up

Hang on a mo. Where in that article does it say they are going to buy him in this transfer window? How do you know this isn't a loan until the end of the season?

Lot of assumption there. Could indeed be a loan with a transfer to go through next week, or it could indeed be a loan until the end of the season.

The club hope to complete a permanent deal on Monday but he goes straight into the squad for the big game against Eddie Howe's in-form Clarets.

The 22-year-old, who has scored nine goals for the Sky Blues this season, is delighted to join Tony Mowbray's promotion campaign and the manager is equally pleased with his new recruit.
Mowbray said: "We've been looking for some physicality in the front areas of the pitch. We do get enough balls into the box but with total respect to Marvin Emnes and Scott McDonald, they're not 6ft 2ins with aerial dominance who can tower over people and head goals.

"I think this player has that first and foremost, but he also has a nice left foot, technicality, mobility and appreciation of the ball. He's still very, very young and he's got a lot to come. So there's a lot of potential in this player."
Southampton-born Jutkiewicz was with his hometown club as a schoolboy but began his first team career with Swindon Town, where his goals helped win promotion to League One in 2007.
His form alerted the attention of Premier League scouts and let to a £1m move to Everton that summer, when he was still a teenager.
He enjoyed a brief loan with Plymouth Argyle before making his only Everton appearance as a substitute in a 3-0 victory over Sunderland in December 2008. Further loan spells followed with Huddersfield and Motherwell, where he netted 12 goals in 27 starts.
Jutkiewicz joined Coventry for an undisclosed fee in July 2010, signing a three-year contract. Nine league goals in 34 starts and eight sub appearances followed in his first season for the Sky Blues and he has already matched that tally in just 25 games so far this season - including a late leveller in the 1-1 draw between the sides at the Riverside.
In addition to being eligible to represent England, Jutkiewicz also qualifies to play for the Republic of Ireland through his Irish grandmother and Poland through his Polish grandfather.

Let's hope he doesn't break his leg, the transfer doesn't go through and we are left with an injured player who we are paying the wages for because we loaned him for one game.....let's hope SISU have had the foresight to consider this in the deal.

Because SISU/board could have stopped the deal to next week as we need him for today as the loan can't play?
SISU would have still got there money and we wouldn't be left in the shit today.
