Pick on subsidiary clauses not the main points raised ie. Keep changing the terms of debate and obscuring the main issues.

No I was not supporting SBKid in his making of personal insults. Again, you have jumped to a wrong conclusion.
I was supporting his assertion that the moderator should be looking at bullying comments made on the forum.

My biggest problem is...I bite back rather than let someone get away with it. As for you NICK...I'm very angry with your stance. Not for my sake, but others who take the shit from these arseholes, day in and day out, and nothing gets done about it.

SBTaylor, I did not answer the points that you raised because they made no sense and avoid all the main points up for debate.
It is not sixth form debate club where the objectives are to try to catch people out, obscure the issue, pick on a minor inconsistency in an opponent's argument in order to score points.
These are not intellectually honest tactics. That is why a reasonable person refuses to debate with people who will not use the intellectually honest debating skills.
I have been a teacher for donkey's years and have taught debating skills. People that refuse to debate properly are barred from participating.

Just to clarify, again.
SBKid lost it when 3 posters ganged up on him. I supported his view that the debate was not reasonable and moderation should weed out bullying tactics.
I did not support the way he expressed his frustration.
As a teacher I see this all the time.
