If sisu had pumped as much money into the squad as they have in legal costs we would have been pushing to get back into the premiership by now..

If you lose the jr joy do us all a favor and do one.

The proposal should go to the European Commission for them to investigate whether it would be deemed state aid.

That is my understanding

Maybe the EU literally sit there with their fingers in their ears, and Farage is right all along.

What do you mean by that?

How do you notify the commission that you're about to spend over £200k?

What's the process?

I don't think there is one. It's reactive and might be something that comes up if you're audited.

Can we stop this 'community asset' nonsense about the Ricoh. The last time I looked it was a closed environment.

Is the Cathedral not a community asset then, by that logic? Not sure something has to be free to all to be an asset to the community does it? I have to pay to use my car, it's still an asset. Unless there's some technical definition I'm not getting.

Ah, got ya. So it was the EU's job to ask about? So, the council have done nothing wrong in not telling them? (but may still have effected competition and/or worked on inaccurate info)

I'm getting that suspicion. Some processes weren't followed, but the decision was rushed due to pressures put in place by Sisu.

wonder where that would leave SISU ?

I suppose they wouldn't mind, as the overall concern was getting all of this vital info out into the open so the fans could judge

In truth shmeee, it outlines who he's worked for and says. "My view". Since when did we get the right to sack people (if that is what's been done) because they got into rows on twitter?

Thanks. In fairness I buy things under the block exemption and don't lend money to my pet companies.

I'll take my 'expertise' elsewhere!

Sisu QC says council’s Chris West said “hell would freeze over” before Sisu got a stake in the stadium.

Judge puts it to Sisu QC that: “Sisu at all times was insisting on having a stake in the stadium.” Says Sisu was only interested in a deal that included share in the Ricoh.

Sisu QC says Sisu would have done a deal that included a share in matchday revenues. He says Coventry City paid the highest rent but also got the lowest share of revenues - nothing

It's the problem with the modern age; communication's easier but it's also more 'public'.

It's the same as if I get in a row with my neighbour or down the pub, and punch someone. If my employer doesn't find out, they don't care... but if they do I'm probably in a wee bit of shit.

This 'ere interweb thingy makes it easier for employers to find out, and the rows on twitter can become the online equivalent of that fight down the pub if you're not careful.

I don't agree, btw... have more sympathy to your viewpoint... but that's the way it is.

Herbert Art Gallery is a Trust isn't it?

Also, a fine example for a rant about government funding things based on economic rather than social considerations, as their funding from local givernment has been slashed to an inch of its life!

They got nothing because CCFC sold the rights to revenue for several million pounds. Can't have your cake and eat it SISU.

Dude. The name of the account is Les Reid Politics. It's obviously a professional account. And again, even if it is a personal account, he was dealing with customers. I'm often found on personal accounts by people I have a professional relationship to, or who would impact my professional standing, I'm self aware enough to not speak to them like shit no matter what I think of them. And mate, check the news, people are sent to jail for things they say on Twitter.

Edit: dammit! You got me. Sorry ccfcway. I'm staying out of it.
