So this years JSB party takes place next Wednesday - 23 December 2015. If your available and your little ones are registered as JSB's, come along (and say 'Hi')!

Here is the clubs press release for the event. Any questions, feel free to ask before the day and if I can answer, I'll try and get the answer for you!

-------------------------

Join us at the JSB Christmas party and get to meet all the players at the Alan Higgs Centre...
The 2015 JSB Christmas Party is next Wednesday!

This year’s party, which is open to all 2015/16 JSB Members, takes place on Wednesday 23rd December at the Alan Higgs Centre, Allard Way, Coventry (CV3 1HW) from 1:30pm until 4:30pm.

The entire Sky Blues squad will be at the party, joining in with activities alongside our young fans in the first hour of the party, before a full squad signing session during the second hour.

We’ll be joined at the party by Sky Blue Sam and Father Christmas (with his grotto) plus other special guests. Sky Blues in the Community will be on hand too, to run a range of footballing activities throughout the afternoon. We’ll even have a real reindeer with us too!

As well as that, Family Zone volunteers will be running their popular annual raffle, with the chance to win some special prizes from Coventry City, local businesses and groups, plus the Sky Blues squad.

JSBs at the party will be able to collect a free team poster too, as well as a free chocolate gift provided thanks to a donation made by the Coventry City players. JSB who haven’t already will also be able to collect their membership gifts using the voucher from their membership pack.

Volunteers will also be providing arts & crafts and their usual array of activities including:

• Playstation –FIFA 16!
• Music
• Subbuteo (kindly donated by the London Supporters Club)
• Table Football
• Special Reindeer Food available ahead of the big day!
• Glitter tattoos & face painting
• Games, including hook a duck, whack a rat and much more!

* A small donation may be required for some activities

There’s all this and much more planned for the 23rd December, and what will be a memorable day for our Junior Sky Blues.

For JSBs to enter the party, they will need to show their 2015/16 Membership Card or the JSB Party voucher from their membership pack. If you do not have your pack or have lost your card/voucher, a list of Members will be on the door too.

Siblings of JSBs will be able to enter the party for a small donation to charity.

If you’re a performer (such as balloon artist, juggler etc) and would like to volunteer to keep young Sky Blues fans entertained at the party, we’d love to hear from you! Get in touch by e-mailing jsb@ccfc.co.uk.

This actually is exactly the type of thing the CET should be publishing - I'm sure they would if wasps were having an event.

Remember when I was a JSB the Xmas party used to be upstairs at McDonalds In town, used to get 1 player to turn up remember 1 year was David Thompson and then 1 year was Dave Bennett lovely guy club legend but the face he had already left the club before I was even born & a retired player (at the age of 9 it was a bit rubbish) was very poor CCFC didn't send a current player.

Really like this idea of it being the whole squad & a proper event!

Can't wait to bring my little lad in a few years.

Well done CCFC.

The last couple of years the players have really got involved pre autograph session too, which was good! Some get very competitive on the PS3's while others got involved in the arts and crafts!

Sounds like a good effort by the club.

Shame my lads are too young, hope it's still being done in 3-4 years!

How old are they?

Last year was great, not enough coverage or praise. Especially for the volunteers who give up their day too.

Really looking forward to it, Wingy. It's a really great day for the kids. As stated earlier this is the kind of thing the media should be promoting.

I get what you're saying torch, the two papers and the radio station could throw it out there and I doubt It would take much of a nudge to get them to do so.
Maybe the club think it's got things covered through the popular JSB network sending cards and invites etc.
Fairly sure there will be some post event coverage.
I don't think the relationship is 100% these days as seen with a couple of releases using different platforms this week.

You can bet this thread gets ignored the volunteers who give up their time for this and each match day really need more credit.

I think the only way this would get coverage if someone complained afterwards to the CET that it was poor.

Them they'd be a journalistic investigation and Martcov, dongle and Tonys bat phones would be in overdrive.

If it's like last year there won't be anything poor about it. Just hundreds of kids having the time of their lives.

Can't justify taking my 9 year oldDriving up from London to every home game is time consuming and expensive enough. Would have loved to taken him.Hidden this party from him.

The PR this year has been so much better much better connect between players and fans especially jsb.

awesome the players giving donations. Great to see them giving something back to the community.

The Charity donation from Aaron Martin 1k for a player who's not a millionaire!
Top gesture young man.

Had a great time, my youngest had his photo taken with Cole. The queue was far too big to wait for signatures. Had a brief chat with John fleck seems a nice guy. Saw Santa, kids loved it.

That was manic! Way more people there than last year!

Queue to get in was huge, didn't even attempt to wait in the queue for the signatures as it would have pretty much been the whole time.

Hats off to the volunteers again, took a day out of their time (I assume days off work too for some) to help and made the day work! The reindeer was a nice touch too!

I couldn't do it, it was bad enough queuing to get in with grown men trying to push in in front of little kids. There may have been murders!

It is good to see so many young city fans, city shirts and happy kids!
