You can say someone is saying something silly without making out that they are silly. Which unfortunately is how you took that post. Wasn't calling you silly, just thought what you said was a bit.

You seemed to take it the wrong way and as I told you at the time I would edit it out and that is exactly what I did.

We all say silly things sometimes.

Like each time anyone says we are on a run of 5 wins in 6 games and you keep changing it to 2 wins in 3

I just said that when we had won 2 in a row it was naive to talk of 5 in a row. After winning 2 we should be only looking to the next game, the 3rd and at 3 to the next and so forth.

I also said Scunny would be a tough game didn't I?

Think Pompey will be a tougher game than some people imagine at the moment. We can't afford to be blinded by the last two wins.

They are on a dreadful run but our home form is poor. If we win I think it will be close. 1-0 perhaps.

The Sheff Utd JPT match is a big opportunity for us. Get through that and there is no-one else left we should fear. Doncaster and Preston could be tough but you would have to fancy our chances against nearly everyone else, if not them themselves.

yeh both games are huge

saturday the first goal is important,if we get it early i can see us winning 3-4 nil, i hope robins has eradicated the hold onto a 1 goal lead curse we have had since coleman days

exciting times, lets hope cov keep us believing for a while yet!

I think if we score early we will win quite easily. If it is tight though and we do win I can see it being something like 1-0 scoreline.

Otis totally agree with a lot u have to say and I too am a realist, and every season is a Long season and in order to have a successful league season a team needs to be hard to beat and show consistency throughout, to all the optomists out there when was the last time we managed to achieve that?? Live in the now and take whatever comes to u, lets prioritise success whatever form that may come in

I agree. I think Pompey's going to be a very tough game. I really do hate this thing about the run they're on! As you keep saying, one game at a time and Pompey'll be saying exactly the same to themselves.
