Mark robins clearly loves Prestons manager judging by his interview. Should make it fun.

Yeah. Kept saying how honest their players were. Almost to the degree to make out just how dishonest they were.

What was with the OTT celebrations from their fans when they scored? It was like they had just won the European Cup against their local rivals.

Westley is a massive prick. Anyone else spot him going for a stroll down the touchline to berate his winger?

Is he the manager that accused his own players of telling the opposition about Preston's tactics?

Yes and put 15 players on the transfer list. Sadly we bought one of them.

I'm surprised he's still in a job.

I'm still seething about McSheff's "foul". What a cheating git.

Thought Barton was ok today.

But yeah seen near the end of the game when we won a throw in, Robins nearly had to go into their dugout to get the ball.

First 20 then like the rest of the midfield disappeared

Me too! If only refs could take retrospective action over cheating like that!

I sat in front of someone who apparently knows an ex Stevenage player. He reckons that he insists on a full blown training regime from 9 to 5 every day.

He's the new Bobby Gould.

We were frustrated with him today. For a big guy he chickens out of too many balls in the air. I like the potential of the bloke, but today he was the weakest link.

Barton looked lost playing more or less as a strike partner to mcgoldrick ! We were pulverised In the centre of midfield today from the time we took the lead !

Robins said he felt sorry for Preston having to see that kind of football every week or something like that

He isn't there to be winning balls in the air, none of our players our, which makes me think, why are we playing long balls to: Moussa, McG, McSheff, Barton?

Because they pressed us quickly high up the pitch and didn't allow bailey or Jennings to get on the ball.

I was going to say this but felt it would be a waste of time

We should have just popped it around them 1 touch when they were pressing us like Barcelona

Still pass it wingers/fullbacks and try draw men out of their rigid 4-4-2 formation.

They played 451 today not 442, they pushed the extra man up once they smelt blood.

Thought Barton was fine for 20 mins. After that he was non-existent.

I was unsure, it looked like they changed formation depending if they were attacking or defending tbh. I definitely knew 4-4-2 last 20-30m

Yeah we lost confidence in ourselves! Robins can't play the game for them. Bailey and Jennings very disappointing 2nd half

For Liverpool, we'll never know, he had that really bad injury and he was playing well before that. Another what if moment.
