It's gone very quiet since she called out wasps and their plans to take us over with the consortium. I suppose silence is because it was the truth.

Does anyone still think we will be playing at the Ricoh in two weeks time?

Nope.

All gone quiet about how they plan to get us back playing in Coventry as well.

No way, to much of a split between SISU and WASPS. Just can't seeing it happen while wasps or sisu are still there

Could be years I believe

I know the investigation can take years. Was hoping it’d be more like months before we knew if they were investigating. Just clutching at straws.

It's all we can do is clutch at straws at the minute :-(

Not really been much in the way of response has there past 'look, SISU'.

No chance, is there even a pitch in a state to be played on? I believe Boddy and his equivalent at Wasps are on good terms and would both like a return, the issue seems to be that those higher up at Wasps are blocking it with unrealistic demands.

Wasps have backed themselves into a corner here. Without some material change they’ll look silly backing down now. Same as when Sisu ended up in Northampton and had to let it play out a bit so they could come back all “Oh the fans didn’t want it”. Only thing I can see is the ECJ statement one way or another. Hopefully even if it’s an investigation there’ll be something in there they can hang a u turn on. I suspect it’ll be next season at the earliest though.

I’ve had a couple of moments in the divorce like this: you’re stitched up like a kipper and don’t want to accept what is objectively the right course of action. No way Wasps can rationally think kicking us out helps anything. But they made their bed and got played or some other mixed metaphor.

Wasps are really in a corner if the rumours of the casino closing come to fruition

I’m sure I’ve seen somewhere it’ll be ready for the 2nd week week of September.

I drive past now and feel nothing...... I don’t want to be in Brum but im not sure I want to go back to the Ricoh now. I’m sure if a deal was being done I’d be back on board but as it stands I just think ... feck you wasps and feck you council... watch us get to to the Championship whilst your flirting with an out of town Rugby club blows up in your face

If it was before it will be now without 25+ matchdays

I know it's takings have been down, that situation will worsen now.

It makes you wonder what wasps are up to?
If they are trying to force regime change at CCFC then what have they to gain by Hoffman and co at the helm?

I would imagine close season is always quiet for the casino. I remember when it first opened it was a huge, grand place. Move on a year or two and its half the size, massively downgraded.

Has it? Plan A is very much still on.
We prove the state aid claim and the council foot the bill for our damages with other caveats included.

Wasps struggle for money this season and call it a day.

If you mean we have not built a stadium yet I would ask why you think we would when we still have a chance of getting ours back or wasps being made to be good to the terms of their lease and again we would be back at the Ricoh.

The European case could take many a year to be completed. Surely they will be wanting to get us back to cov area before the end of that ?

I keep hearing that but what clout will EC have after October 31st if Boris gets his way.
