Is it really good to see? Honestly baffles me how fans are so bothered.

Id say so yes

Pre 2017 the woman wouldn't even give an interview about us, sheds now at the point where she attends a final for our U16s.

Maybe she genuinely is a fan now

What's so good about it?

She wouldn't give so much as an interview because she refused to be held accountable for her consistent wrongdoings over the years. Now that the club is in a positive position her attendance has become more regular. Funny that.

She isn't a fan at all and it's concerning if fans actually believe that.

Too little too late.
If she and her band of merry men had demonstrated their intentions were honourable from the start rather than drag a proud football club through the mess that we've endured, I may feel different about her.
I may forgive but I won't forget.

I thought it was. The one that was picked up by West Brom - his name escapes me.

Too distracted by the badly advised leather trousers to focus on Joy (fwiw, I can't see why we should be knocking her for attendance, even if she doesn't merit a round of applause. Can't see the point in biting the hand that feeds)

Joy to the world, the Saviour reigns
Let men their songs employ
While fields and floods
Rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy
Repeat the sounding joy
Repeat, repeat the sounding joy
Joy to the world then we sing
Let the earth receive her King!
Joy to the world then we sing
Let the angel voices ring

I couldn't care less whether she attends or not, I just find it absurd that fans seem to insist on suggesting it's a good thing when in the grand scheme of things it's utterly irrelevant.

Their most successful period has been driven by the fact they've avoided interfering in club related matters.

The fact they still sustain us by injecting high interest loans in the club also permanently relies on Robins overachieving year on year. Highly convenient fans seem to forget this.

Not arguing with that view at all.

Playing devils advocate though, how much blame do you attribute to the insects and cov council?

Say what you want about our Joy but absolutely no one can deny that the Sky Blue designer handbag is a nice touch. She’s truly converted as a fan in my eyes just on that alone!

when she flogs our assets off and only gives Robins a fraction of what they will pocket themselves, we'll see how much of a fan she really is.

That's my feelings as well and rather think about what she does in the present and future as it's about both of them not the past.

Seeing that the club have just announced Robins has got a renewed contract, sounds like Joy was in town for a reason and our U-16s weren't it. She may have taken in the game for entertainment but I'd doubt she came up from London just for the young 'uns.

But if she did choose to watch the game, fair play. There have been many times when Robins and Joy have done their dealings over coffee and scones at Coombe Abbey. Could she have caught a severe case of Sky Blue blood from the manager ?

Despite the despicable choices made and the pain SISU caused until ~2017, at some point we all have to move on and acknowledge that bar some poor decisions around investment (e.g. this January), their club management has been largely pretty stellar in comparison with the vast majority of league clubs in this country.

I'm sure it's naive of me, but I have been genuinely impressed by how she has spoken, been more visible (which is clearly against her instincts), and her apparent knowledge of footballing matters in the last few years.

Give her a chance - we don't have any choice and it will most likely benefit both parties.

This.

The navigation through the pandemic was spot on. Granted it was helped by Robins masterful way of working with fuck all like but we will see next season just how many clubs fucked up during that period

We're coming up to 15 years since she took control. In that time there have been 2 moves out of the city, 2 relegations, 2 promotions, the relationship with the fans going toxic and then returning through the other side. Financially speaking she is still jacking high interest loans on the club and keeping us dependent on Robins' working miracles on a tight budget each season. The squad was not strengthened in January despite it crying out for reinforcements in a small number of positions.

Giving interviews to kids and showing up to games is all well and good but don't let it distract you from the picture behind the scenes.
