At this new point we thought mccallum and Giles would go back this window. If as it appears Giles has gone but mccallum stays it makes sense to have backup of a player that has played at a high level. Think Reid will mainly be on bench but will have a few opportunities as second half of season progresses. Positive move by club

Ryan Giles saga is up there with Richard Duffy now. Was with us in L1 for half a season and saw 12 minutes on the pitch. Came back in the Championship and was first choice, until the guy he couldn't get past came back on loan. Now he can't even get into the squad again so has been recalled. Wolves must think we're nuts.

If we go down then spending a window filling positions we don't urgently need won't look good on him.
