Weirdly I'm a huge fan of Eccles and yet if that was on offer I think I'd take it, but similarly if we sold Sheaf for that same value I'd think we'd been ripped off. No real reason for that so I clearly have an inbuilt bias despite consistently defending Josh on this board.
Recently we've had people on here saying Eccles is League 2 standard, but Sheaf is going to the PL for 20million+. Both statements are absolute nonsense.
Eccles is as good as, if not better than Sheaf. The transfer fees thrown around are completely blinkered.
