He was very highly rated a few years ago at Everton, was surprised this season when he popped up at Oldham this season

Baxter was offered a new contract by everton an turned it down to play regular first team football for someone. I thought we would be after him or atleast hoped we would.

Seems like he likes staying local, Oldham, Tranmere etc

Plus he was on-loan their last season.. definitely think he'd be a good addition to the squad.
