Looking at his stats and his age , 6 ft 1 , Ecuador International , playing European football ..

Would be a good signing but would he drop playing Tesco value europa league for the championship?

we've got wagbo who is 135 and will be finished in 18 months
And godden still can't be classed as reliable for a season even though he's got great hair and i love him

Also Walker seems to spend more time out of the team than in it

We could swap Bright for him, and throw in Hilsner, Jobello, Pask and Shipley.

I loved Bright first time round, but he appears to have issues since leaving here.

I can just see the conversation now.
CSKA: He'll cost you £1m
CCFC: How about we give you Bright, Hilssner, Jobello, Pask and Shipley?
CSKA: Then the price will be £2m

We might have to sell Gyokeres back to Brighton for 20 million in January if he carries on like he did on tuesday!

looks like the type of player we should be signing. Would take him, not convinced by waghorn so far and would cover well for walker and godden

1. If we took him, we would have five suitable (to a greater or lesser extent) strikers - MG, TW, VG, MW plus this guy. This represents a substantial upgrade on last year, but seems profligate when considering the weaknesses elsewhere.

2. Yes, Britain would be the attration - if he gets noticed he could be on potentially very big money indeed and anyway will be on peanuts in Bulgaria.

This sounds quite agent led to me, firstly how do they know a scout was there to specifically watch him? And secondly how can you tell they “kept a close eye”

I’m not being funny, but if an agent wanted to create a story , they probably wouldn’t choose us as the club watching their player

Like you I'm not convinced by Waghorn at all. (Thank god Gykores has stepped up so far) Was very excited by Waghorn signing initially and stupidly thought he would be first choice. From what I've seen he's a good 4th choice....hoping he actually performs better than Biamou did for us last season at probably a 4/5x more wages. Will answer that in a few months.

100% yes, the Championship is a bigger attraction than all but 5 or 6 top flights.

No chance. Godden when fit will have a part to play in most matches.

Problem is we are stuck with Waghorn for 2 years now he won't be going anywhere.

4 caps for Ecuador. After Gyokeres 2 for Sweden, I think we're getting an insight into Badlan's Football Manager scout search:

International caps: <5
Position: Striker
Age: <24
Value: <= 999,999

I suspect, if there’s any truth in it, that it wouldn’t be for this season.

Looks like he's got some attributes here, but it also really reminds me of Kastaneer's highlight reel

Apart from our current first team Robins is building with future in mind could sign him and put him in the squad, loan him out or back to his present club until January or the season or not bother signing him at all.
