According to the formation on the BBC website he played as part of a front three, our ex midfielder Maycock played at centre back.

Just checked, it has Altrincham’s #8 playing left back and #9 playing right back so not correct. Probably down to no social media coverage of the game

It's wrong.

Thompson played centre back in the first half & right back in the second.
