Our only "ever present" so far this season.

The kid is doing well.

He is certainly one of the good things to come out of the season so far. In a back 4 with just him and Johnson they would be quite solid I think.

Yeah, agree. Wasn't too keen on him last season but seems solid this season. Him and Reda will be a strong partnership.

Always said he was a better CB than RB and this season confirms it. He's having a great season. Looks solid and copes with most things that are thrown at him

Fully agree.

Personally, I'd have a flat back 4 of:

J.Clarke Willis Reda Pugh

But why change a winning formula

I'd give Phillips a shot at RB. It's not working with Clarke on that side I don't think. And think Phillips would benefit being next to Webster or Reda.

also, why would you play Hines at CB? :thinking about:

I wonder how much we'll sell him for in the summer...

Willis over the very slow Webster for me.

As good as Willis had been I think we have to acknowledge trang playing 3 centre back means there's always cover on (in theory) which helps centre backs be less cautious as they know there's someone there to nip up their mistakes. He had played really well though, but not convinced he would have been equally as good assured in a flat back four

I meant JC as a RB, not a RWB. But agree about Phillips, think he needs more game time too.

Know a little bit about this kid,

Has/had been rejected by a couple of local Rivals academies and came to Coventry's as a very hungry teenager .

Has captained England to around U19 level and Is earning under 1K a week .

Surely not we are supposed to be the big hitters when it comes to wages in this league

Sorry CCFC92. Just realised (yes it's took me this long) people were saying 'Hines' for CB and not 'Haynes'. Doh!
