Did well considering. Must have been a hell of a match for your debut. What happened for the 4th? Looked like Murphy should've called but I was a long way away.

Looked comfortable. Probably wasnt the best time to be introduced to the first geam, and as one caller on CWR said he probably didnt have a squad number yesterday.

Done well in the lead up to Platts goal too!

From what ive seen so far this season, Murphy isnt the very best for vocal communication so I expect he didnt shout for the ball, resulting in a miscommunication with both players assuming the other was goin to claim it

Looked like Murphy was coming out to it so it's got to be the keeper's ball to claim really. Shame that their goals featured fairly basic defensive errors, although they did also miss a hatful too.

Willis was going for it, then pulled his head away, so I'm guessing Murphy called.

Either way, that should have been Murphy's ball. I rate him but he messed up there.

Great work by the lad in the build up to Platt's goal. Was a bit naive at times, understandably, and balooned a cross into the stand when well placed, but he looks to have character. I liked the way he stood up to attackers rather than back off-couldn't really blame him for Fox's cross for the third, that was the CB's fault for marking space. As for the 4th, I thought Murphy shouted "mine" but then didn't get there as Harris was really pissed off with him afterwards! I suppose a more experienced player may have ignored the call and cleared it himself, and perhaps Murphy wouldn't have come anyway if it had been a more senior player defending the cross?

Sammy seemed to be having a go at him a few times for some reason. His first game out, why doesnt he give him a bit of encouragment instead?

I personally think he's a poor captain anyway, alternatively who would captain the side though? Wood when he's fit, I can't think of another suitable candidate.

Why was Willis played anyway? Haven't we got a young leftback coming through, we've got enough Rightbacks haven't we?

He does seem a bit of a blame culture captain. He should lead from the front and by example instead of berating players all day.

he probably has a go at the groundsmen for making the pitch too wet before each game, how many times do you see him with his face buried in the pitch cause he's fell over his own feet.

Thought for a young lad first game against a confident good team he did ok, certainly doesnt deserve to be blamed in any way for the result. Fourth goal i put down to the keeper. He made mistakes but it further proves we have good potential in the academy - Well done Gregor Rioch & co. (no not Carsley because the work was done before he got there)

Think Clingan is a poor captain who is often struggling with his own game so far this season. I think the telling point is that there is no one that fans would say is a definite as a captain. Leadership or lack of it has been one of our biggest weaknesses this season

Good point OSB I have noted a few on here who seem to be giving the credit of the academy to carsley when he has only been here two minutes !!!!!!!!
