If Wikipedia is to be believed, his next game will be his 200th for the club.

A fairly rare set in the lower leagues - well done Jordan!

Is that 200 starts, or 200 including being subbed on?

I was there for his debut where he played at full back.....think it was home v West Ham in the season we went down from the Champ. Remember him winning a fair bit of applause for being pretty composed and hard working.

I wonder if it was that game that made them realise that Thorny wasn’t the man to guide them to champion’s league football? What a hoot Dongo was.

Will be by far the biggest loss of the players going out of contract. He's been excellent this season on the whole.

Mr loyalty and overall very reliable. A very rare commodity at this club.

Great achievement. He's stepped up a gear this year in my opinion. Previously I would have been happy to sell him. Now I would be gutted if he left.

The lad will probably stay if he gets offered a reasonable deal
As far as I know none of the players who are out of contract at the end of the season have had new offers
This isn't too unusual to be honest especially as we don't know for sure which division we'll be in next season
It does look likely we'll still be in L1 but at this time last season it was far from sure that we'd be promoted

I was saying to my brother after the game Saturday that I'd make him highest paid player if it kept him here, would be a massive loss.

Hoping he gives it one more year (possibly a one year deal so he could leave for free at the end of it if we don't go up) but cant begrudge him a move to a Championship club (heard it could be our opponents on Saturday !)

Agree with this - would have no problem making Willis the club's highest-paid player.

Same here!! If the rumours that Doyler, JCH & Ogogo were three of the top five highest wage earners are true then there must be something in the budget to make it happen.

Marcus Hall 270
Little Sheff 247
Jordan Willis 199

He should be the record holder at the end of the 2019/2020 season for games played for a Cov Born player if he signs a new contract!

Johnny, Big George wasn't born in Coventry (but he is certainly a CCFC legend).

I remember some of his abysmal performances in that terrible team that went down into L2. He has really moved on though and matured and I suppose a year at that level made him more of a player, ie the one we are seeing now. If he gets a move I wish him all the best, still not sure he will cut it at the top half of the Championship if that’s where he ends up.

I think he would have a chance. Reads the game well (Gillingham aside) and has pace

Surprised it's 3 players of the modern era. Would have thought back in the day when players didn't move around as much and there wasn't so many overseas players it would have been more common.

If you're a Cov fan living in Northampton you're a legend as far as I'm concerned.

Never used to think he would but I would now , I think one of the important things he has learnt is when to try and push up and play the ball back out , and when to smash it into row z ... and he does both quite wel. The odd duff long ball but doesn’t everyone

If we were to get promoted I’d say he would be one of fee names on mr robins ‘keep’ list

I think he is good enough for the championship and he is constantly improving, still young and room to improve further in my opinion.
It would be my priority to get him signed to a new deal.
