He is probably too good for that level, but some games in a winning side whilst getting match fit will be good for his confidence and I'm sure he'll come back better for it. I would love to see him and Cyrus fighting it out for that spot as both are excellent prospects imo and we may need both in the run in, when we hopefully still have something worth fighting for.

It would be good to send our younger players out on loan to get experience. As we seem to be getting rid of our players and replacing them with loans we will have to play them next season.

they can have him, watched him enough times last season and dont think he will be good enough, with christie at right back i think thorn wasted another salary on clarke with a new contract to be honest

I disagree completely. I think we'e lucky to have both and if as tipped Cyrus moves on to greater things then we would do well to get better than Clarke. His positioning is sometimes suspect but he can defend and can get forward too.

He did well when he first came through, I remember him playing Adam Johnson well and also marking guttierez out the game until he got injured.

Boothroyd then played him right mid and left back, and he was shocking particularly at left back.

Thorn came back and restored him to his natural position right back and he was excellent towards of the end of last season.

Incidentally he made his mistake( in his first competitive game since last season) against derby playing left back.

I'm starting to get v annoyed with everyone slating our kids all the time, their kids ffs give'm a break/

Would be a good move for him, people said he looked rusty when he came on during the Derby game (understandably so, given the length of time he was out). He desperately needs match fitness, and with Christie and Keogh available for selection at right back, I would have no qualms in him going on loan there for a month, with the guarantee of playing 4 - 5 first team games in order to get that match sharpness back that is so crucial.

If true I hope this is just a month or 90 day loan, we'll need a fit Jordan for the final run in, he is a very good player.

I agree with stupot 100%. people need to understand that whoever owns the club we will always be relatively poor against the big teams so youth development is essential.
One of the few things I think thorn got right was giving him a sustained run at right back and he did well. Makes me laugh the angst people show when thorn is criticized and how some think Eastwood is ok to give another chance . Having a go at Clarke is far worse I think.

He needs competitive games so should take up any offers that come in.
