I like him works bloody hard and puts it about a bit especially in the air, biggest criticism of him is his first touch not great and seems to dilly-dally a bit when shooting range but a good foil for the likes of Chaplin and others.
He’s been superb since he came into the team against Gillingham away and showed in that game what we were lacking previously after Biamou injury, after that toothless performance vs Blackpool away.
Since he’s been in the team there’s direct correlation with results and performances. He’s been close to motm in 4/5 games since Gillingham game. His performance against Sunderland was superb.
Really pleased he’s stepped up to play Biamou role. But like Biamou he needs to bag a few more goals.
I think there’s more to come, we haven’t seen the best of his thunderbolt left foot shots.
