Had his chance to go higher in the Spanish Liga Adelante to La Liga but he blew it. Attacking midfielder who can knock in goals. Las Palmas are a bit like CCFC, low crowds unless successful (only about 8-10K unless a play-off game). Living over here now I see him play and I really think he could be that bit of quality we need, scores and sets-up goals in the pressure games (could be our diamond/jewel player)). Still owned by Standard Liège but only played a few games for them as not up to that level. But like I said, attacking midfielder who can score and create goals at our level these days.

If confidant I think he could play at championship level. Previous transfer fee can be ignored as he has flopped when he stepped up to the top level. Rumour has it that Las Palmas can sign him back for €70,000, but a big clause, if he sells for anything over €1,000,000 in any future fee then Standard Liège will get 70% of the fee. Means they don't pay his wages anymore but if he comes good again they get 70% of his fee (not profit, his transfer fee). Don't ask for facts etc as this is only a rumour here in the south of Gran Canaria.
Think he would be our star signing and if he flopped we would be back to staying up on the last day of the season (used loads of our budget as he won't be cheap), if he worked out then we would probably gain promotion about 2 or 3 weeks from the end of the season.

I'd rather be simple than a woosie. At least as a simpleton I can understand the tripe that's written on here.

I'd jump at the chance to move from The Canaries to Cov to play next season.

Which resort do you live in Pipkin?

Harleys is now called Riders because of copyright. Snoopys still here also but Linekers went years ago. Tropicana is now a Rock Bar.
Back end of the centre is the busiest part now as it's cheap beer. Don't go into the centre very often as it always seems dead. Europa centre at the top of the hill is busier these days. Mary D's and Barbacoa (the show bars are the busiest in the Europa).

Las Palmas promoted tonight via the play-offs.
People driving around with horns sounding, flags hanging out of the windows and just a great atmosphere.
Sold out stadium, bright sunshine.
Reminds me of 87, brought back loads of memories.

Here is the link if anybody wants to see it

and back on topic, Viera played
