i reckon if we want to try and play our way out of the division next year, this is the man who would make it happen. everytime he played for wba against us he ran the game.

didn't get much of a look in a fulham last season.

what you reckon?

I wouldn't recommend a positive signing on here pal you'll get panned like i did with Bradley Johnson stick with the non league players no one's heard of.

we missed our chance with johnson a few years back when he left northamton. saw him play there a few times and he always stood out. good player like a better version of doyle really....but can't see him wanting to come here at all.

i just think we need someone who can the pass the ball around for fun ala greening, and we need to play cranie at centre half so we keep the ball better too.

drives me mad when we just give the ball away, and if there is no-one to pass to don't pass, shield the ball and wait till there is..............roland nilson was quality at that.

Are Fulham likely to let him go unless he's out of contract?? Ive always rated him, although he is 32. Probably another elder player who may get consecutive injuries though. And again like most players being mentioned, he'll be on Premiership wages and may not necessarily want to drop down to Championship wages (or our wages atleast).

'sigh' you might as well be speculating us signing Yaya Toure or Macheda. The fact is we would not be able to afford their wages. We would be unable to afford any premier league players on a free transfer because of their wages.

Would like to see Seyi Olofinjani. Cardiff had him on loan last season from Stoke I think . He ran the show at the Ricoh . Guess he might be available ?

Good shout. He was outstanding against us at the Ricoh!

At Stoke though?? Wages be £15-£20k = too much for us to match / compete!

Yaya Toure wouldn't definitely be worth signing as a back up for Osbourne

It was off Hull. I always rated Olifinjana though too.

As for Greening, you're totally right. But he's too out of our (wages) price range. A few of those Baggies players from a few years ago would do the business in our midfield.

Olofinjana is like a poor mans Yaya Toure but still very good, especially at this level.

Dave Jones, Lee Williamson or Moustapha Salifou would be decent signings

Dave Jones?? He shud stick to tryin to manage the sinking ship at Cardiff rather than come back making a come back as a player!

Is Dave Jones (the player not manager, of course i knew what you meant) the one from Wolves??
